“ Overall a weak 4 star or a strong 3 star restaurant. We were a company of 10 People booked in advance. The appertizers took too long to get. However it tasted well and it was well laid out. The main course for the majority of the company was 300g rib eye. Almost all pf the Meat was ordered medium rare but came in as medium well this was a small dissapointment. But nevertheless taste and texture was better than the overall Bückeburg restaurant. One of us had to wait for the main course too long and this also results in a small minus. Dessert of chocolat mousse was really thick and creamy! I like. So far the best food in Bückeburg when you want a good tasty and cozy meal with a date or a big company. ”

“ Excellent food: fresh, normal/big portions, and very well prepared. Staff is most friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere - a fachwerk farmhouse alongside the castle gardens of Bückeburg - is exceptionally charming. Very well maintained, cosy lighting in the evening, and many different 'rooms', so you can also have some privacy for/from groups. Price is unbeatable. Special attention to the schnitzel buffet on Tuesday, at only €10,50......! ”
“ Excellent service with super friendly and pleasant staff. Big menu with variety to satisfy any appetite. They have dinner buffet, Salad bar and dessert bar which seemed to be popular. We optioned for ala carte menu and the food was served quickly with good quality. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the region. Would go back again. ”

“ Been to Germany many many times over the last 20 years and there are so many really good restaurants here, but I do think this place did a fabulous job. Called in without a reservation and was lucky enough to get a table for the 4 of us, the restaurant was already very busy. Our server was courteous, professional and attentive. We all had different dishes and the food was all just perfect. I had a large glass of beer I'd never come across before and that too was spot on, it went down a treat! Will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Many thanks to the staff of Mühlenhus for a job well done. ”
